Frequently Asked Questions

  • First, we will go through a detailed assessment to get to the root cause of what brings you into my office. Together, we will develop a plan, ensuring you always understand your diagnosis and next steps. From there, we jump right into treatment with a unique combination of manual care (soft tissue therapy, mobilizations and adjustments), acupuncture/dry needling, education, active rehabilitation exercises, and strength and conditioning. These are 1 to 1 appointments so you can expect to work directly with me for your entire session.

  • No, you do not. Although pain is often what leads people to seek out care, I commonly work with patients for performance-based goals. Some examples include:

    • Conducting agility sessions so you’re unstoppable on the pitch

    • Improving your splits in dance

    • Assessing your squat/deadlift form and providing feedback

    • Enhancing your power output for skating in hockey

    • Educating on recovery so you can lift heavier at your next training session

  • This really depends on your unique health history, injuries and goals. My ultimate goal is to provide you with the tools to be successful on your own. So, there won’t be endless appointments, instead we will work together leading up to your “Graduation day” when you're comfortable taking the reins to your health outside of the clinic.

  • You betcha! I’ll follow up with an email after every session summarizing the exercises and/or lifestyle recommendations we discussed. Habits take time to develop, and movements require repetition, so it’s imperative that you’re consistent outside of the clinic in order to get the most out of your care.

  • No. Although I do treat necks and backs, I can treat any joint, muscle, ligament, tendon or nerve in the body from your head to your toes. I particularly love working with shoulder, hip and knee injuries.

  • No, you do not need a referral letter to schedule an appointment with me. You can book directly into my schedule by clicking the “Schedule” button at the top of the page or by contacting me directly.

  • All of your treatments will be eligible for coverage as I am a Registered Chiropractor. However, I’d recommend calling your insurance company if you have any questions about your policy.
